I’m celebrating that geekheartsaday had over 200 followers on Twitter and 15 subscribers to the blog! I’ve met such amazing people all over the world, it’s intense what creativity brings. That and I’m just coming to the end of my ninth month of daily heart arts!
I’ve created this pattern by repeating different coloured lines at different angles.
My sister and I used to love watching three men and a little baby (and lady) when we were kids. There’s this classic bit where this old guy in the church randomly stands up in front the front row, arms in air shouting ‘I’m starting a wave’ – think ‘mexican wave’ – ok its not that funny but to me and my sister its a classic when we’re at a gig x
I’ve been inspired by watching a full on marathon of the legendary Who’s line is it anyway so I started off with 1 line in illustrator and created an abstract heart shape as I went along. I think it captures the ‘improvised’ style of the show with the suggested movement with the linear design, I decided to fill it in red and think it almost looks a little iconic…?…it seems a bit familiar but I can’t think why? Any ideas?
I’ve played with a doodle by using effects in illustrator and photoshop… I’m thinking etch-a-sketch and pasta tubes …and the blues and greens inspired by the blue skies meeting the sea in Brighton today…
